What City program and events are canceled and/or postponed?


  • Murrieta Community, Senior, and Youth Centers are closed and their programming cancelled.
  • Senior Lunch Program continues with weekly drive-through meal pick-ups.
  • Murrieta Public Library is closed and its programming cancelled, but offering a wide range of virtual services.
  • All recreation classes, programs, activities, and reservations/rentals are cancelled.
  • Citizens Academy Classes are postponed
  • Council/Commission meetings are offering virtual and in-person participation
  • All Chamber of Commerce events are cancelled or occurring virtually, including Coffee with the City.
  • All city-run adult and youth sports groups and leagues are suspended.
  • All special events are either occurring virtually or cancelled.

Those who have paid for activities that are cancelled will receive refunds. For those activities that are postponed, additional information will follow on revised dates once the Orders have been lifted. The City will make every effort to reschedule events later in the year, if feasible.
